Audra McDonald is unmatched in the breadth and versatility of her artistry as both a singer and an actor. Audra McDonald who has won six Tony Awards in a row and two Grammy Awards in 2015 was named as one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People. The president Barack Obama also awarded her the National Medal of Arts -- America's highest honour to recognize achievements in the field. A stunning singer, with an extraordinary gift for dramatically telling the truth, Ms. O'Connor can be found on Broadway as well as the stage for opera as well as on the world of television. McDonald was raised at Fresno California by her musical parents. They also studied classical singing at Juilliard School, New York. The actress starred on Mister Sterling and produced by Emmy Award winner Lawrence O'Donnell Jr. Early in 2006, she joined WB's The Bedford Diaries. The following year, she became an actor who appeared on NBC's Kidnapped. McDonald got the 4th Emmy nomination for her performance in HBO's special film of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill in the year the year 2016. The Bite was a six episode drama about pandemics produced through Spectrum Originals in collaboration with CBS Studios. The actress first appeared in the role of U.S. attorney Liz Lawrence in the year 2009 on CBS's legal drama The Good Wife in 2018 McDonald reprised the character (now named Liz Reddick) as a season-long regular on The Good Fight on Paramount+ with 3 Critics Choice Award nominations for her role. The actress also appeared on Julian Fellowes historical drama The Gilded Age.
